Hoyle Síog (hoy-ell shee-og) is neither an animal, vegetable, or mineral. A female of her species, she enjoys poking things she shouldn't, writing epic tales of love and pottery, and plotting evil schemes to take over the world through use of thinky thoughts and captainy things.

  Hoyle is a writer, a musician, and a director. She likes to work with as little budget as possible--mainly because no one has just "given" her money yet--and makes do with what she has. This sums up to all of a depleted bank account, crazy ideas on how to dump papier-mâché on her actors so she can call them sludge monsters, and submitting short stories and novellas to as many electronic publications as possible.

  She has some semblance of a blog that is hardly used, a twitter account that she vomits her thoughts on, and a facebook where she plays Mafia Wars and bothers her friends. None of this aids the creative process.

  (Truthfully, no one expects it to.)

  This website is where most of her plotting will come to fruition, and possibly some of her epic tales. That, or she will fall flat on her face in front of all the internet and turn hobo, screaming at commuters on a busy cross-street while emphatically waving an empty bottle of Yoo-Hoo.

  A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.
